Reports to send

  • Recent X-rays of the affected joint or spine
  • MRI or CT reports, and the images if you have them
  • Your doctor's notes and any previous surgery reports
  • Other health conditions (for example diabetes) and a list of the medicines you take now

Send what you already have. Your coordinator will tell you if the hospital needs anything else.

You can attach scans, lab results and prescriptions directly in the WhatsApp chat, or reply to our email with them. When you start, you also get a private, secure space to upload documents.

What you receive in writing before deciding

The hospital's treatment opinion

What the hospital's doctors recommend, based on your reports.

A written cost estimate

The hospital's estimate for the treatment it recommends.

Both come before you make any decision or travel. Asking for them carries no obligation.

Common questions

Which scans are most useful?

Recent X-rays of the affected joint or spine and, if you have them, MRI or CT scans. Send the images as well as the written reports if you can.

How long will I stay in India after surgery?

It depends on the procedure and on your recovery, so only the hospital's doctors can say. Your coordinator can ask the hospital for the expected stay and rehabilitation plan, so you can plan travel and accommodation.

Can a family member travel with me?

Yes. Up to two people — usually close family members — can apply for India's e-Medical Attendant visa, which is linked to your medical visa. Your coordinator explains the steps.

I have another health condition. Should I mention it?

Yes. Tell us about other conditions, such as diabetes or heart problems, and the medicines you take. The hospital needs them to form its opinion.
