Neurosurgery in India
Meridian helps international patients reach NABH & JCI accredited hospitals in India for brain and spine treatment. Your coordinator gathers your reports, obtains the hospital's treatment opinion and a written estimate, and helps with the visa and travel if you decide to go ahead.

Reports to send
- MRI or CT scans of the brain or spine: the report and the images (CD, USB stick or download link)
- Notes from your neurologist or neurosurgeon
- Biopsy or pathology report, if one was done
- A short history of your symptoms and the treatment so far
- A list of the medicines you take now
Send what you already have. Your coordinator will tell you if the hospital needs anything else.
You can attach scans, lab results and prescriptions directly in the WhatsApp chat, or reply to our email with them. When you start, you also get a private, secure space to upload documents.
What you receive in writing before deciding
What the hospital's doctors recommend, based on your reports.
The hospital's estimate for the treatment it recommends.
Both come before you make any decision or travel. Asking for them carries no obligation.
Common questions
Should I send the MRI images or only the report?
Both, if you can. The images, on a CD, USB stick or download link, let the hospital's neurosurgeons look at the scan itself, not only the written report.
Can you help with a child's case?
Yes. We help parents find the right hospital for children's brain and spine conditions too. Our guide for parents, below, explains how it works.
Who decides whether surgery is needed?
The hospital's doctors give their opinion and you decide, with them and with your own doctor. Meridian is a facilitator, not a medical provider, and does not give medical advice.
Can Meridian help in an emergency?
No. Meridian helps with planned treatment. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
